Day one : My master’s project idea starts with a design I created on the wall in my flat. It’s a take on the ’70′s string art idea but applied to the wall instead of a board. I will share more specific details about this project as they develop in the coming weeks.
The goal of blogging about my master’s project is to share with you, my community, my process and ideas bi-weekly and ask that you share with me your thoughts—both positive and negative— in the comments section or by email. I’m asking you to be a part of this product design journey and to help push this design into a fantastic innovative solution in… 133 days. See you on Thursday!
Colorful thread and linen yarn are wrapped around nails to create a dynamic geometric design. It’s inexpensive, easy to install and leaves tiny holes that are easy to cover when you move. (I move a lot)
(a preliminary patent has been filed for this idea)
